The South Central-axis International Culture and Technology Park takes the lead in building a metaverse industrial base in Beijing, having attracted more than 220 “specialized and sophisticated” enterprises.

Aiming at industries dominated by the next-gen ICT and characterized by the metaverse, the Park is an innovation community jointly created by the ZGC Development Group and Fengtai District.

The park has built a metaverse enterprise accelerator covering an area of more than 10,000 square meters. It has attracted more than 220 high-tech companies, ranging from well-known Gen AI companies like X-EraAI and Magical Scene, to firms using cutting-edge technologies to build diversified metaverse spaces, such as Geek Bay, HS Solution and Xunhu International Technology, to digital content creators Hoba and Oceanus Data, and to Beijing Hanjie Technology that develops intelligent interactive VR glasses.    

In the park, the newly opened Virtual Person Bionic Construction Center is full of people。 Digital avatars are doing livestream marketing in multiple languages and interacting with customers in real time.

According to Xia Chaojun, head of X-EraAI (the operator of the Center), this system uses high-performance computing servers and multi-modal large models to create the AI digital person comparable to real one in terms of image, voice, expression, and action. With the ability to interact with human, they are widely used in livestreaming, games, short videos, film and television production and other fields.
