A Project of a 2D Semiconductor Material for Manufacturing 1nm Chips has Started Its Achievement Transformation in Zhongguancun


The two-dimensional semiconductor material of atomic-layer thickness, represented by single layer molybdenum disulfide, can be used to make transistor devices with technical nodes smaller than 1nm, which is expected to make Moore's law continue. At the same time, it can also realize 3D heterogeneous integration with silicon-based chips to overcome the memory wall problem, which can improve the chip performance by thousands of times.

The Chinese research team has committed itself over the years to the research and development of 2D semiconductor material preparation technology and equipment. Beijing Fire-eye New Material Manufacturing Co., Ltd. was established to transform the sci-tech achievements in this area.

This sci-tech achievement transformation project has received support from the patient capital under the ZGC Group. ZGC Collaborative Innovation Fund has exclusively invested in its angel round, which will be used for industrialization research and development of 2D semiconductor materials and equipment.
