Construction of the Beijing-Tianjin-Zhongguancun Sci-tech City Moves into a Fast Lane


On April 21, the “Collaborative Innovation and Win-win Cooperation— the Development Forum of Beijing-Tianjin-Zhongguancun Sci-tech City” was held at the exhibition center of ZGC National Independent Innovation Demonstration Zone. 

At the forum, the relevant companies and the government of Baodi (Tianjin) signed a memorandum of cooperation on the construction of Beijing-Tianjin-Zhongguancun Sci-tech City. More than 100 organizations, including Tsinghua University, Peking University, Chinese Academy of Science, enterprise representatives and service agencies of the alliance, attended the meeting.  

The ZGC Development Group, CAS Innovation Incubation Investment Co., Ltd, Peking University Science Park, Tsinghua Bauhinia Innovation Research Institute and the government of Baodi District signed the cooperation agreement of industry-university-research innovation alliance. They will gather core innovation elements of Zhongguancun in Baodi to create a new cross-region ecosystem for innovation and start-ups.

In addition, 20 enterprises, alliances and sci-tech service agencies signed cooperation agreements on the spot. At the forum, the representatives of Tianjin Electric Power Company of State Grid, Beijing Academy of Social Science and Beijing University Capital Development Research Institute made keynote speeches. 

The forum marked that the construction of Beijing-Tianjin-Zhongguancun Sci-tech City has moved into a fast lane, that the ZGC Development Group has taken a new step to build the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Collaborative Innovation Community. It will play a demonstration role in the synergetic development of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei and the implementation of the National Independent Innovation Strategy.
