(hereinafter referred to as “GenAns Biotech”), a portfolio company of ZGC Group, has received tacit approval for clinical trials for its independently developed Class 1 innovative drug, GA002 Injection. This groundbreaking drug is designed to treat focal refractory epilepsy with clear lesions that are difficult to control with existing medications. As a gene therapy drug based on chemical genetics, it offers new hope for patients suffering from this disease.

Since the establishment of GenAns Biotech, ZGC Capital, a subsidiary of ZGC Group, has led its angel round financing and actively assisted the company in connecting with industry resources, thereby injecting momentum into its early-stage R&D and operations. After three years of development from zero to one, the company’s first pipeline, the gene therapy drug for blindness, GA001, has officially received approval for clinical trials. The project was recognized as one of the Ten Major Scientific and Technological Achievements at the 2025 ZGC Forum. Key pipelines such as GA001 and GA002 have also begun exploratory clinical trials at leading institutions including Xuanwu Hospital and Tiantan Hospital, with promising results.
