On May 20, UISEE, a company that has partnered with ZGC Group for over a decade, was successfully listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. It is the first company to be incubated by the Zhongguancun Emerging Industry Frontier Technology Research Institute (the “Research Institute”) under ZGC Group. Supported by the full-chain services of ZGC Group, UISEE has grown from a startup in autonomous driving into an industry leader since it was established in Fangshan District in 2016. The company has also entered a new stage of development in the capital market.

UISEE’s decade-long growth journey has been underpinned by the targeted cultivation and long-term support of ZGC Group.

In the early days, the lack of real roads and test scenarios was the greatest challenge for the startup. In 2018, ZGC Group coordinated with relevant authorities to open 11 testing roads around the park and established China’s first 5G autonomous driving demonstration zone. This endeavor provided a professional testing platform, enabling rapid iteration of technologies in real-world scenarios.

In daily operations and development, ZGC Group and its subsidiary Zhongguancun Frontier Technology Co., Ltd. have provided efficient, full-process services such as business registration, policy consultation, financing matchmaking, and resource connection. Leveraging national-level platforms such as the ZGC Forum, they helped the company expand its market presence. In addition, they actively facilitated its global expansion by connecting the company with institutions in Saudi Arabia.

The growth of a hard-tech company also requires long-term investment services from patient capital. As an important initiative for empowering hard-tech companies, ZGC Group’s fund system invested RMB 50 million in UISEE. The aim is to support its technological breakthroughs and market expansion as well as to share the risks of entrepreneurship.
