On May 20, the main structure of the ZGC (Yanqing) UAV Industrial Park, a project of ZGC Group, was fully topped out, marking the park’s transition from blueprint planning to real-world implementation.

With a total investment of RMB 390 million and a planned construction area of 44,600 square meters, the park comprises four main buildings. Boasting a spatial layout perfectly tailored to the development characteristics of the UAV industry, the project integrates R&D and office spaces, pilot testing facilities, innovation incubation, exhibition areas, and commercial amenities. This diversified ecosystem can fully meet the multi-dimensional needs of tenant companies, including R&D and office space, testing, and business exchange.

The park is dedicated to building a comprehensive industrial innovation hub that integrates cutting-edge technology R&D, hard-tech innovation incubation, acceleration of high-growth enterprises, exploration of green and low-carbon technologies, and authoritative testing and certification. In terms of architectural design, the park features custom-designed wide cargo transport corridors tailored to the logistics needs of UAV equipment. A dedicated outdoor test flight field has also been built. It will serve as a full-chain platform for UAV companies to conduct R&D testing and scenario-based test flights, thereby perfectly aligning architectural design with industrial requirements.

In the planning and design phase, the park fully considered the heavy-duty requirements of drone R&D and manufacturing. It features core freight corridors with a maximum width of 2.4 meters and has designated two dedicated outdoor flight test zones within the adjacent urban park to the west. These facilities provide tenant companies with full-chain spatial infrastructure spanning R&D, manufacturing, and testing. Meanwhile, the park has deployed supporting facilities such as a smart park system to foster a complete ecosystem covering R&D, testing, training, and industrialization.

As construction accelerates, the park adheres to the philosophy of prioritizing construction quality and investment promotion while integrating physical spaces with industrial development. Since the beginning of this year, the park has made steady progress in industrial services and resource connectivity. In January, it won the “New Quality Cultivation Pioneer Award” at the 9th New Driving Force Summit. In April, the Low-Altitude Technology and Smart Transportation Forum themed “Smart Transportation • Low-Altitude Intelligence” was held in Yanqing, bringing together resources from universities, financial institutions, and industry enterprises. Earlier, the park also hosted a low-altitude technology industry session at the 2025 Annual Meeting of ZGC Forum, initiated the establishment of the Gongxin International Low-altitude Industry Alliance, and deeply participated in major events such as the 9th World UAV Conference and the 5th Badaling Low-Altitude Safety Development Conference. These efforts aim to continuously promote the clustering of low-altitude industry resources.

The park has also made positive progress in investment promotion. To date, a number of high-quality enterprises including Beijing Hanhai Technology Co., Ltd., Beijing Ruidi Tongda Technology Co., Ltd., and Beijing Instronic Technology Co., Ltd. have signed agreements to settle in the park, further extending the industrial chain of the low-altitude economy.
