On October 24th, Beijing Zhongguancun Shuimu Medical Technology Co., LTD. ("ZGC Shuimu Medical") signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Philips Health Technologies (China) Co., LTD.

As an enterprise laid out in the sector of life and health by the ZGC Development Group, ZGC Shuimu Medical has established a preliminary one-stop service platform covering the entire industrial chain of "Engineering-based R&D + Inspection and Testing + Clinical Trials + Registration + Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO)+ Contract Sales Organization (CSO)". It has over 30,000 square meters of R&D and production laboratories and more than 1,000 sets of equipment and facilities. It has established close cooperative relationships with over 400 top-tier hospitals in China. It can provide full life-cycle, "end-to-end" integrated innovative services for medical device products.

At the signing ceremony, the Philips - ZGC Shuimu Medical Interventional Technology Innovation Joint Laboratory and Training Center were officially unveiled. Focusing on the pan-vascular intervention field, it will provide clinical experts with a venue for surgical method innovation, accelerate the transformation and international promotion of local innovation achievements, and build a complete innovation system spanning from technology research and development to talent cultivation, providing all-round support for the innovative development of the medical technology field.

Relying on the integrated service capabilities of the innovation ecosystem of the ZGC Development Group and the global technological strength of Philips, the two parties will jointly build an empowerment platform covering the entire life cycle of medical devices. It will facilitate the independent innovation and industrialization of high-end medical equipment, and contribute wisdom and strength to promoting the construction of “Healthy China” and enhancing the global medical service level.

The event site also witnessed the startup ceremony of the Philips Azurion 7M20. This angiography equipment will greatly enhance the research level of interventional diagnosis and treatment technology, accelerate the transformation of innovative achievement. It will provide an important platform for cultivating high-end medical talents, promoting the interventional diagnosis and treatment technology to a higher level.
