On October 20th, the "Medical-Engineering Cross-disciplinary Joint Proof-of-Concept Base", jointly established by ZGC Medical Device Park (under ZGC Development Group) and Beijing Tsinghua Changgung Hospital Affiliated to Tsinghua University (hereinafter referred to as "Changgung Hospital"), was officially inaugurated.

The "Medical-Engineering Cross-disciplinary Joint Proof-of-Concept Base" will deeply integrate the rich clinical resources of Changgung Hospital, the top domestic and world-class engineering advantages of Tsinghua University, and the professional one-stop industrial service capabilities of ZGC Development Group, to build an integrated service system covering "basic research - technology verification – incubation and acceleration - industrial implementation".

By driving the deep integration of medical device engineering technology innovation with clinical needs, it will significantly accelerate the process of technology transformation in the field of life and health, and enhance the engineering research and development level and innovation capacity of domestic medical device suppliers.

At present, the base has provided technology achievement transformation services for the first batch of 23 original projects, including AI-driven real-time imaging surgical robots and electro-controlled pneumatic micro-pressure spraying systems, promising to fill domestic gaps in multiple niche fields.

ZGC Medical Device Park signed a contract with Changgung Hospital on the spot. The two sides will cooperate in aspects such as implementing high-quality scientific and technological achievement transformation projects, building high-level achievement transformation carriers, jointly cultivating high-quality talents, and co-building an ecosystem for the achievements transformation and application of life and health industry.
