On May 28th, the first phase of the ZGC (Jingxi) AI Technology Park, under the ZGC Development Group, was officially completed. After the full operation of the park, it is expected to attract more than 200 artificial intelligence enterprises and achieve an annual output value of over 10 billion yuan.

ZGC (Jingxi) AI Technology Park is located in Mentougou District, with a total investment of approximately 10 billion yuan and a total construction area of 800,000 square meters.

Since its construction began in February 2023, the park has been advancing efficiently, achieving the goal of "starting construction and topping out in the same year", and has won multiple honors including the Great Wall Structure Quality Project and the first prize in the Intelligent Construction BIM Competition.

The first phase of the project covers an area of around 310,000 square meters, deeply integrating modern concepts such as digital intelligence, low carbon and more. It has achieved full optical network coverage across the park, exploring the application of smart construction and green low-carbon technologies. It has been recognized as a pilot project of climate-friendly areas in Beijing, providing a industrial park demonstration model for implementing carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals.

Characterized by building a full-dimensional ecosystem for artificial intelligence enterprises，the park focuses on AI sectors and continuously expands the application scenarios of "AI+", with priorities on the development of seven segments: intelligent manufacturing, intelligent healthcare, intelligent audio-visual system, intelligent education, intelligent culture and tourism, intelligent robots, and intelligent transportation.

To gather AI enterprises together, the park has currently established professional technical platforms for computing power, algorithms, data, cloud and more, and set up a 1.01-billion-yuan Jingxi Industrial Guidance Fund. It will focus on serving AI enterprises with intelligent technology as the core and "intelligence +" as the main body, and build an AI industrialization base integrating "office + experiment + trial production" functions.

Benchmarking against world-class science and technology parks,the ZGC (Jingxi) AI Park incorporates features of digital intelligence integration, low-carbon development, and multi-story industrial space into its design and construction, forming a fully integrated industrial ecosystem spanning "incubation–acceleration–R&D–industry-academia translation–manufacturing–corporate offices".

In response to the needs of enterprises at different development stages, the park has set up an industrial incubation building for start-ups, standalone buildings for headquarters, and R&D office buildings for leading enterprises demanding large office spaces. In addition, it has also planned and designed new-type industrial buildings according to the needs of enterprises, tailoring floor plan, building height, floor load and other design elements to fully meet their needs for office work, research and development, as well as small- and medium-scale trials.  These "composite industrial buildings" allow enterprises to simultaneously carry out research and development, office work, and lightweight production within the park.
