On July 5, the project of Zhongguancun Deutz Hydrogen Energy Application Research Institute was signed, aiming to bridge sci-tech innovation with industrial development, and facilitate the deployment of world-leading hydrogen energy technology in China. 

According to reports, the two sides will create a joint venture —Zhongguancun Deutz Hydrogen Energy Application Research Institute—and locate it in the economic development zone. They will improve the efficiency, reliability and scalability of hydrogen combustion engine products through combining their expertise, resources and technical strength. They will also work together to build a stronger supply chain, develop necessary infrastructure, and keep the public informed about the benefits of this revolutionary technology.
