Tianjin’s First Large-scale M0 New-type Industrial Land Officially Launched in Binhai-ZGC Science Park

On January 8, 2023, Binhai-ZGC Beitangwan Digital Economy Park, Tianjin’s first large-scale M0 new-type industrial land, was officially launched.

M0 new-type industrial land means integrating various new type of industrial functions, such as R&D, creativity, design, pilot test, pollution-free production, as well as related supporting services in one plot.

It has multiple advantages: first, lower costs by transferring land revenue into industrial income, supporting the development of sci-tech enterprises; second, higher area ratio of supporting facilities. The construction area of supporting facilities, like living service facilities and other auxiliary facilities, accounts for 30% of total building area, fully realizing integration and complementation of industry and city; third, flexible segmentation. The housing of the project can be divided, registered, sold and transferred by building, floor and room, and can be conditionally transferred to the project meeting the type of new industrial land.

Binhai-ZGC Beitangwan Digital Economy Park (M0 new-type of industrial land) sits in the core area of Binhai Z-Park, forming a north-south longitudinal development trend with the manufacturing cluster area in Jingkai District, Tianjin University of Science and Technology, Tianjin Joint Institute of Biomedicine and other universities and research institutes.

The project covers a total area of 251,000 square meters. The first phrase of the project extends to Qinghai Lake Road in the east, Tianchi Road in the west, Ganzhou Road in the north, covering an area of 174,000 square meters (with a total construction area of about 312,000 square meters). Construction of industrial buildings is expected to be completed in the first half of 2024.
