On March 24, Science and Technology (MST) made public the Public Announcement on the Proposed List of 2020 National Maker Space.

Jinan · ZGC xinxigu Innovation Center (“Innovation Center”), founded two years ago, was officially recognized as a “National Marker Space”, following the approval of Shandong Maker Space, Jinan high-tech business incubator. 

The Innovation Center, as an important link of innovation and entrepreneurship service ecological chain in Jinan high-tech zone, focuses on the fields of biomedical, advanced manufacturing, sci-tech services, and strives to build an industrial ecological system similar to Z-Park that integrates innovation resources, online platforms and sci-tech finance

Since its establishment two years ago, the Innovation Center has incubated more than 60 enterprises and teams, held more than 60 “Mass Entrepreneurship and Innovation” activities, and successfully created the brand activity of “Innovation China in Jinan & Jinan٠Zhongguancun Collaborative Innovation Forum”, which has attracted more than 3,000 entrepreneurs.

A number of outstanding start-ups and entrepreneurial teams emerged, with four firms recognized as national high-tech enterprises, one firm Jinan Gazelle Enterprise. The Innovation Center has won many honors at the national and provincial and municipal level. It was recorded as a Maker Space in Shandong Province in 2018 and was recognized as a sci-tech enterprise incubator of Jinan in 2019.
